To become an IOP member, read carefully the following instructions and select your membership category at the end of this page. Payment has to be received in full before membership is activated.
Note: The system of IOP has been fully renewed in 2010. If you are a former member before this change, please apply again.
Membership Categories
Members
Those scientists who have completed a Ph.D. or M.D. or equivalent with a specialization in Psychophysiology or a related field, and have published papers in the field
New members are requested to pay 10 Euro as a Joining fee.
Associate Members
Those students who are pursuing a Ph.D. or M.D. or equivalent with a specialization in Psychophysiology or a related field
New associate members are requested to pay 5 Euro as a Joining fee.
Membership Dues
Joining fee: 10 Euro for Members , 5 Euro for Associate Members
Members of affiliated societies are exempted from the joining fee of IOP, when they newly apply to the IOP membership (IOP Bylaws 5.1). Submitting a copy of the membership certification may be requested.
One-year membership dues:
25 Euro for members, 15 Euro for Associate members
Membership periods will expire on December 31 of each year.
Members receive a discount from the registration fee of the IOP Congress held in the membership period.
Note: The membership dues and joining fees were changed after the closing of IOP2018.
Terms and Conditions
All the applicants are supposed to agree on the following terms and conditions.
(1) I certify that to the best of my knowledge all of the above information is correct.
(2) I understand that the discovery of false information will invalidate this application and result in rejection of the application or dismissal from IOP.
(3) I understand that my membership will be validated only after the IOP receives my membership dues and joining fee (for Members).
(4) I understand that my membership will be expired when I do not renew it in time or when I request to withdraw from membership.
Important Notice
If payment of dues is not finalized within 1 month of the application, it will be cancelled.
